Annual Meeting

MPA's 36th Annual Meeting Planned for Oct. 5 - 7, 2018

The 36th Annual Meeting of the Missouri Parks Association is planned for October 5 through 7, 2018, at Watkins Mill. This three-day gathering will begin Friday afternoon with a 1:00 p.m. tour of Confederate Memorial State Historic Site, followed by a tour of Battle of Lexington State Historic Site at 3:00.  That evening's social will include heavy hors d'oeuvres and a possible program.  Participants will gather Saturday morning at 8:45 a.m. at the Watkins Mill visitor center for the annual state of the parks address by Ben Ellis and a panel on cultural resource stewardship (a complement to last year's panel on natural resources).  A tour of the park will follow at 1:00 p.m. Sunday morning's annual meeting of members and board directors will begin at 8:30 a.m. at The Elms hotel.  Registration for the 36th annual MPA meeting will open on August 3 and close on Friday, September 21.
